Shave & Style: Barber Adventure - Step by Step VR Tutorial

Learn how to give a great haircut in your VR barber shop. This guide will show you the basic steps to turn a messy customer into a fresh, clean-looking one.

Step 1: Talk to the Customer

First, find out what kind of haircut the customer wants. For example, they might ask for a "low taper fade" and want the top, back, and beard trimmed.

Step 2: Prepare and Thin the Hair

Check your tools: Make sure your clippers and trimmers are ready.

Start thinning: If the customer's hair is thick and messy (like a "bird's nest"), use your scissors to thin it out first. This makes the hair more even and easier to work with.

Step 3: Shape the Sides and Set a Guide Line

Trim the sides: Use your clippers to cut the hair on the sides.

Set the guide line: This is very important. Use your clippers to create a clear, clean line at the bottom of the hairline. This line is the start of the fade.

Step 4: Create the Fade and Check Your Work

Fade upwards: Start from your guide line and use a smaller clipper guard to cut the hair above it. This creates a smooth fade effect.

Check from all angles: Turn the customer's chair around often. Make sure both sides look the same and the haircut is even.

Step 5: Clean Up the Details

Around the ears: Carefully clean up the small hairs around the ears.

Fade the back: Use the same method to fade the hair on the back of the head.

Shape the beard and eyebrows: Use a razor to shape the beard and tidy up the eyebrows.

Be very careful here! It is easy to accidentally cut off part of an eyebrow. If this happens, you will have to apologize!

Step 6: The Final Look

When you are done, step back and let the customer see the new look. You have turned a rough-looking customer into a fresh and clean one.
