Forever Pets is a free VR pet-raising game for Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S. In the game, you take care of a baby bird from the moment it hatches. Your goal is to feed it, play with it, and build trust so it grows into a happy companion.
Step 1: Hatch Your Bird
When you start the game, you’ll meet Dr. Pixel and his helper Kubo. You’ll see several eggs ready to hatch. Choose one that you like—maybe one named “Ziggy.”
To help it hatch, place both hands gently on the incubator for a few seconds. The baby bird will soon pop out!
Step 2: Build Trust
At first, your bird may shake or seem scared. That’s normal.
Slowly reach out and touch it very gently with one hand. Don’t rush—trust takes time.
Step 3: Feed It
Find the food tray (usually under the table) and take two corn kernels.
Place them in the glowing spot near the bird’s feet. Keep your movements calm and steady.
Once the bird starts eating on its own, it means it’s beginning to trust you.
Later, you can try hand-feeding: hold a kernel in your hand and let the bird come to you.
Step 4: Play and Bond
- Let it perch on your finger: Hold out your index finger steadily. If the bird trusts you, it will fly onto your hand.
- Pet it gently: When your bond is strong enough, you can softly stroke its feathers. This shows your friendship is growing.
Helpful Tips
- Use the trigger button to pick up items—not the grip button.
- Move around using VR walking or teleportation.
- Every interaction—feeding, petting, or just being near—helps your bird grow and feel safe.
