DiG Gods Beginner's Guide: Build, Battle and Create

What is Dig Gods?

Dig Gods is a multiplayer sandbox game. You can create your own character, use cool gaDigets, build your own maps, and play with friends.

Basic Controls

• Press the button with three lines on your left controller to open the main menu. This is where you do almost everything.
• In the menu, you can see your Collection (all the items you own), Simulations (your maps and others' maps), Environment (to change settings like the sky and gravity when building), and Wardrobe (to change how your character looks).

How to Get Items

• In any map, items you own are blue. Items you don't own are gray.
• To get a new item, just walk up to it, grab it, and pull. This will buy it using your in-game money. After that, you can use it in your own maps.

How to Build Your Own Map

1. Open the menu and load a blank simulation.
2. Go to Build mode. A good place to start is the "Neoc City" template.
3. Select an item from your menu by pressing the trigger button. Then, press the trigger again where you want to place it in the world.
4. You can use settings like Snap to line up objects easily.
5. Press and hold the Y button on your controller to jump into your map and test it.

How to Fight

• Your health is shown on your wrists.
• Grab weapons with the grip button and shoot with the trigger button.
• Different weapons do different damage. Using cover is very important.
• You can find shields that can block up to five shots to protect yourself.

Lobbies: Where to Play

When you start the game, you are in the Hub. From here, you can enter different lobbies:

• Home Lobby: A main starting area.
• Solo Lobby: For playing alone.
• Hangout Lobby: For up to 6 players to socialize (no building).
• Build Lobby: For up to 4 players to build together.
• Private Lobby: For up to 10 players with a code, great for playing with friends.

• The game is always being updated with new things.
• Join the game's Discord server if you need help or want to chat with other players.
• Have fun and be creative! There are hundreds of items to use.
