Getting Started
After finishing the simple tutorial, you'll be launched to the main area. This is your hub for all activities: buying items, getting dinosaurs, and hatching eggs.

Getting Your First Dinosaur
- Find and pick up an egg.
- Throw the egg at a chicken or a pig to "prepare" it.
- A bar above the egg and eyes popping out signal it's ready.
- Place the egg in the hatchery and sit on it for 20 seconds to hatch.
- You'll get a Nubasaurus with unique colors and patterns.

Raising and Leveling Up Your Dinosaur
After hatching, grab your dinosaur by the collar to bring it to you. Baby dinosaurs are slow.
Riding Your Dinosaur:
- You need a Level 5 dinosaur to ride it.
- Feed it meat (from chickens, pigs, etc.) to gain XP, shown by a blue bar.
- At Level 5, you can buy a saddle. The basic saddle costs "Bones."
- Once saddled, you can ride and control your dinosaur. There are also multi-seat saddles for friends.

Currency System
There are two main currencies in UG.
1. Bones:
- How to get: Throw any meat into the Bone Converter in the main area. It's server-wide, so everyone gets the same amount.
- Use: Buy basic items like saddles.
2. Nugs (Gold Currency):
-
How to get:
- Claim the daily Alpha Test reward.
- Leave a game review.
- Complete daily challenges found in your hut (each gives Nugs).
- Real-money purchase.
- Use: Buy cosmetics, upgrade weapons/saddles, and buy dinosaur eggs.

Cosmetics and Trading
Cosmetics:
The shop refreshes regularly. Some items are limited-time. To wear an item, just pick it up and place it on your head.
Trading:
Use the trading table. Both players must put at least one item in; you can't gift items for free. Confirm the trade with the lever.

Helpful Tips
Lost Dinosaur?
Step on one of the pads found around the map to call it back.
Revive a Dead Dinosaur:
When your dinosaur dies, it becomes a skull. Hold the skull in water (use the river at spawn) for about 5 seconds to revive it. It won't lose any levels or XP.
Record Videos:
Use the camera button in the menu to record from different views.
Storage:
You can place items on your saddle's holsters.
