Job Simulator: The Simple Guide

Even in 2026, Job Simulator is a fun game to play with VR hand tracking. You do not need to follow the rules. The fun comes from moving objects with your hands and making a mess.

There are four main jobs in the game. Here is what you need to know about each one:

1. The Mechanic (Fixing Cars)

In this job, a robot asks you to fix a car.

What to do: Open the car hood. You need to put batteries in the car, check the oil, and clean the windows.
Fun tricks: You do not have to fix the car correctly. You can take the pistons out of the engine and hide them. You can also use paint cans to color the car pink, or fill the car with frisbees and food.

2. The Office Worker

This job makes fun of boring office work.

What to do: Sit at a desk. Plug in the computer (the wires do not need to be correct). Check emails on the screen. Your robot boss will ask you to do tasks.
Fun tricks: There is a copy machine. You can copy money (even though it is fake). You can also lift dumbbells at your desk, or throw paper balls at your co-workers.

3. The Chef (Cooking Food)

This is the best level to use your hands (hand tracking).

What to do: Turn on the stove. Cook bacon and eggs. Put the food on a plate and ring the bell.
Fun tricks: There is a blender. You can put anything inside—like raw steak, cheese, or vegetables—and make a strange drink. You can also give customers raw meat or throw food at the wall.

4. The Store Clerk

You work in a small shop and help robot customers.

What to do: Scan items like chips and drinks. A customer will ask for a "meat cylinder" (it is a hot dog). You must get it from the freezer and cook it.
Fun tricks: There is a button to make things "Jumbo" (very big). You can make small candies giant. You can also change the price on the computer and ask the customer for $10,000. There is also a safe in the back; try to open it to find cheese.
